Print shipping labels in a batch

Labels for parcels that are not store orders - a mailing, a box to a coach.

A store order gets its label from Fulfillment. Shipping Labels is for everything else: you type the recipients, the carrier prices each one, and you buy the labels you want.

The screens pictured here are an example ministry’s, so the names and figures in them are not yours. Everything they show works the same way in your own admin.

Shipping Labels before any batch is made: one row per batch, and New to start one.
Shipping Labels before any batch is made: one row per batch, and New to start one.
  1. Open Back Office, then Commerce, then Shipping Labels, and press New.

A batch is made at once and opens on Add Recipients. Double-click a row to reopen an old one.

  2. Press New Recipient, fill in Name, Address, City, State, Zip, Country and Ounces, and press Save. Repeat for each parcel, then press Next.

Ounces is the parcel's weight. The carrier needs the two-letter state and country.

  3. Check the Return Address and press Next.

Filled from your own address in Settings the first time. Next saves it on the batch.

  4. Press Generate Labels and OK.

Asks the carrier for a rate for every recipient. Status and Shipping Rate fill in on each row as the answers come back.

  5. Press the download icon on a rated row to buy that label and open its PDF.

One at a time, so a bad address can be fixed with the pencil and rated again without paying for the rest.

Watch out

The download icon buys a real label from the carrier the first time it is pressed. After that it opens the one already bought.

Watch out

Deleting a batch deletes its recipients and their records here. It does not refund a label already bought.
