Help/Capstone/The platform itself

What the platform costs to run

A ministry’s Google cost, the markup on it, and the overhead that is nobody’s bill.

Two different numbers get called "cost". A tenant’s cost is what its own project spent, and it is billed on with a markup. Capstone’s own cost is overhead — it is not charged to anyone.

  1. Read a tenant’s Cost on its own screen.

The month, one figure, and the services under it.

  2. Set the markup as a percentage of that Google cost.

It is what turns the raw figure into the line on their invoice.

  3. Read Capstone’s own cost on the Tests screen.

Built from the same shapes as a tenant’s, and deliberately somewhere else: it is overhead, not anybody’s bill.

Tip

Costs arrive late. An open month keeps moving for days after it ends, which is why a month is frozen when it is invoiced.
