AI writing help is an optional add-on, and its price is what it cost: whatever the provider charged for that ministry’s usage is what appears on their invoice. There is no separate AI pricing to agree.
Open the tenant’s AI panel.
Switch the add-on on for that ministry.
This is what decides whether they may use it at all. Without it the AI buttons are not on their screens — not greyed out, absent.
Set the key, or point a second-tier customer at its parent’s.
"Same as parent" means they use the parent’s key and the parent carries the cost. With the add-on on but no key set, the buttons are there and refuse, with a tooltip saying why.
Read AI usage to see a month’s requests.
Read on demand from the ministry’s own project rather than copied here, so it is what actually happened.
To charge them nothing for it, waive the AI line on their invoice.
That is the same waiver every other line uses — there is no "included" setting of its own any more.
THE THREE AI PRICING MODELS ARE GONE (8 Oct 2026). A ministry used to be put on a flat monthly AI price, or cost plus a markup, or "included"; AI is now passed through at cost for everybody. Do not promise a ministry a flat AI price — nothing can charge one. Invoices frozen before that date still show the terms they were made on, so an old invoice reading "flat" is correct history, not a live setting.
What the add-on buys a ministry: subject-line suggestions on a campaign email, Rewrite on any block of words, a first draft of a page from a description, and Start From a PDF, which turns a flyer they already have into a page. All four are on this one add-on and this one key.
