Help/Capstone/Running a ministry

Who the ministry is

The record behind a tenant: who signs in, who is billed, and who to ask about the domain.

The client record is what you read when something needs a human. It is the only place that says who actually edits this ministry’s DNS, which is not always whoever sold them the domain.

  1. Open the tenant’s screen and find Client.

  2. Set the tenant admin: who signs in to their admin.

Blank if nobody yet — a ministry can be provisioned before it has named anyone.

  3. Set the billing account.

Blank means SR Freed Consulting pays.

  4. Record who sends their email, who the domain was bought from, and who edits DNS.

The DNS one is the field that saves an afternoon. It is often not the registrar.

  5. Record whatever they are moving off, and when.

So a cutover date is not something somebody has to remember.
