Help/Capstone/Standing up a ministry

What a tenant is, and what it gets

The unit Capstone provisions, bills and deploys to — and what exists after it does.

Everything in the console hangs off one idea: a tenant is one ministry, with its own Google project, its own records, its own domains and its own bill. Nothing is shared between two tenants except the code, and that separation is a property of where their records live rather than a filter the apps remember to apply.

  1. Open the Estate.

Every tenant the console knows about, with its services drawn around it.

  2. Press a tenant to open its own screen.

Client, Config, Plan, Cost, Activity and Job — everything Capstone holds about that ministry, in one place.

Tip

A tenant gets up to four applications: a public website, an admin for its staff, a reader for its published books, and an events app for its attendees. Which ones it gets is chosen when it is provisioned, and can be changed afterwards.

Watch out

A tenant’s Google project is created by Capstone and owned by SR Freed Consulting. A ministry that leaves does not take the project with it; its content and records are exported to it instead.
