Plans, and what one decides

The plan fee, the costs on top of it, and the published prices.

A ministry pays its plan’s price each month PLUS what that month cost to run. There is one way of pricing and no second model: the plan fee is the published price, the costs are itemised beside it, and anything you do not want to charge is waived line by line.

  1. Choose the plan on the New tenant form, or change it on the tenant’s screen.

Changing it later is a record change, not a deploy.

  2. Set the plan fee and the margin under Invoices on the tenant’s screen.

The published prices are $99 Light, $149 Full and $39 for a second-tier customer. The margin is a percentage on the costs that are charged, and zero until typed.

  3. Decide which lines this ministry is actually charged for.

Each line has a switch. Switch one on and it is still printed on the invoice at what it would have cost, and added up as given rather than charged.

Watch out

A ministry with no plan fee set is invoiced for nothing and is skipped by the monthly run altogether. Setting the terms is what starts its billing.

Tip

A second-tier customer is $39 whatever plan its record names: it runs on the parent’s project and plumbing, which is why it costs a quarter of a tenant of its own.
